KICK IT For Mike
On November 26, 2016 we lost a son, a brother, an uncle and a friend. In the belief that we can help others through educating children and parents about the dangers of drug use and the disease of addiction we founded The MDS Foundation.
On September 24th we host the 6th annual KICK IT For Mike Cornhole Tournament. The money raised will benefit educational programs throughout Pittsburgh. These programs provide top notch, professional educators and health professionals to work with children and parents about the science of drug addiction. They focus specifically in our backyards and in small group settings where help is so needed.
They include but are not limited to:
The Matilda Theiss Center: Since the 1960s, the Matilda H. Theiss Health Center has provided primary health care for people of all ages, including uninsured patients. In addition, The Theiss Center provides a variety of social counseling and health promotion services.
Partnership for Drug-Free Kids: Committed to helping families struggling with their son or daughter’s substance use, The Partnership has been supporting families and responding to a changing drug landscape for over 30 years.
If you cannot make the event but would like to make a donation please follow the purchase ticket link. There is a donation option at the bottom of the page.
In the past 5 years we raised close to $75,000!
THANK YOU for all of your support! We look forward to making this a successful event year after year and to make a positive impact Michael would be proud to be a part of.
Love Pam, Meghan, Emily, Shaun & Cash
